Organic Braid

Hey guys! So as I was surfing YouTube (when I should be working…) I found this tutorial on the channel that taught me how to do the “Katniss Everdeem braid”(I’ll link that tutorial here). It’s called an “organic braid” and it’s super easy and using nothing except your hair!! Seriously, no hairspray, no hair brush, nothing, it’s really cool and here’s the video:

Procrastination

Have you ever been working on homework and all of a sudden you get this idea about something and you just HAVE to look it up online? Or you’re kinda working a little and you just get distracted? Then all of a sudden you’ve wasted twenty minutes watching YouTube videos while saying to yourself “Oh just this last one and then I’ll go back to homework….well maybe one more…..ok now one more…you know, I could always take a little longer break…” yes, this has happened to me basically every night I sit down and try to do homework even if I’m in my room without internet access or at the dining room table. And I think that it’s a natural thing to do, I don’t know hardly anyone who can sit for a couple hours and ONLY do homework. It turns out I was right! Here’s the video (that I found while I did homework…)

Well! I hope you weren’t procrastinating….but I’m no one to judge!! And I hope you learned a bit more about procrastination!!!! OH and if you thought this guy is pretty funny OR you liked his accent! then here's a link to his channel: charlieissocoollike
now back to homework…..

IDEAS

If god was the original, the *ALL MIGHTY* why doesn't he just use his power to vanquish all evil, and kill the devil himself... :/

Religion was founded for human principle, morals, ethics. Shows people a lifestyle of peace and how we should be with one another. Nothing more. Nothing less.. No Holy Ectoplasm man, No green fields and white clouds.. Just earth, and a silly idea.

Oh, come one you people can't seriously believe in gods. Deep down you know you're living a lie. If you're so afraid of living a life without a guiding hand, look it up. Test it. See just how plausible creationism is. If you have undeniable proof, call me.

But for now, get over the fact that the universe does not revolve around these random, conscious arrays of atoms living on an insignificant hunk of rock. The stars are where we were born and I pity those who cannot grasp that.

and if god is so poweful, loving and all knowing, then whyy doesnt he prevent events like the killing of 6 million jewish people. doesnt prevent 9/11 or 7/7 bombings. Doesnt give us world peace and no war.

yeah. sure god is real. Ill believe that when I see proof.

This is why god isn't real

Religion creates conflict ALL THE TIME. Do we need to go down the list of wars that happened because one religion wanted to eliminate the other? It'll take a while. And yet, you cannot do the same for atheism. If an atheist does good it is because they want to do good, not because there is a Sky Cop watching all their actions or they're worried about the afterlife. Secular humanists did not systematically rape children for decades and try to hide it. Catholics did.

According to the word of God in the Bible,God is a spiteful, vindictive killer.

We have evidence for the Big Bang. The cosmic microwave background radiation at the edge of the observable universe is a fingerprint of the Big Bang.

That is not 100% conclusive, but a very solid start. We have to go further, with better technology, but we will find the answer. And even if the big bang theory turns out to be inaccurate: the god answer would still be for lazy pricks who don't care for research or truth.

This video right here pisses me of, you wanna know why it pisses me off? That so much people have separated from honesty. That people still seriously believe in all of these outdated, irrelevant religions. And spend so much money, and have so much money on such a waste of time on an invisible, imaginary man in the sky. When we could all join together as part of this universe to learn about this universe. But no us as a humanity still are in such ignorance of this beautiful cluster of galaxies.

I believe religion is for people who are too scared or ignorant to understand the complex mechanism of our universe. Compare how much things you use that science has made possible to use. If there is a God, you won't be needing a hospital to heal yourself. Or to move you around in cars

The good news for you, is that we haven't ruled out the existence of a God, but we'll believe it when we see it.

What all these comments tell me is how mean some people are, and while this is only the comments about how God DOESN’T exist, there are some from Christians, who have such a high and mighty state of mind. They go around, hopefully with good intentions, and say that those others are stupid, ignorant, small-minded and, stubborn. But how can they say those things when they themselves are being just as stupid, ignorant, small-minded and stubborn. God created fee-will, for what is love if you cannot choose to give it? God sees and knows all that goes on down here and it sickens me that we are squabbling about things that we will never understand or be completely sure on. Why shouldn’t people be entitled to their idea? Why can’t people believe that there isn’t a God or believe that there is? What is so very wrong about people who believe they were created by a higher being? Isn’t that something to look forward to? The BIBLE says that God loves us so very dearly and that He sent His only son to die on a cross to say of from our sins. The Bible also says that He will punish those who don’t follow His law. I can see both sides, I’ve tested both out for myself. My opinion doesn’t matter, it shouldn’t matter what my religious standing is, what matters are the words that flow from my mouth. I can make them harsh and commanding, I can plead and beg, I can bring tears to the eyes and I can speak for what I believe. But i’m not speaking about that, I don’t understand why people can’t say what they believe in without getting crap thrown in their faces. We should all take a step back from our own point of views and see that all of us have things that make us who we are. I love God, but I also love science. I think the two go hand in hand. Science is the explanation to what God has done. It explains, to the very smallest cell, how perfectly God created the Earth. But why should I judge someone who doesn’t also believe that? Where is it in my right to say that they are wrong when they have just as much heart in it as I do? God wants everyone to believe in Him, and I will die fighting for that cause in whatever I do, but I won’t force someone into loving Him as I do, that wouldn’t save them. Love is something that can never be controlled; people love others who hurt them. Like I said, I believe God gave us free will because He wanted to be loved by His children, but He wanted us to make that choice, for ourselves. So I won’t judge someone who doesn’t see my faith or understands my faith because you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.
And do you want to see what all those comments were on? It was on the video below. What you take from this video is comepletely up to you and that's how it should be.

Veteran's Day

Hey guys! I’m actually getting a true Monday pick me-up!! Do I actually have time for it? Not really but who wants to do homework on a Monday?? So, something that really perked me up today was realizing that I have only three days left of school until the weekend! How is this so you ask??? Well, I know for my school district (and I’m pretty sure everyone else’s) is taking Friday off for veteran’s day! So this Monday pick me-up is going really awesome because I really want to thank God for giving us such awesome lives! I can tell you this, I am sooooo thankful for our troops and veteran because I am definably not brave enough for war and if it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t have what we have today.  So today’s pick me-up is for all the things we love in life, things that makes us smile is a pretty good indicator for those things! Have a great awesome Monday and say thanks to our troops!!!

Friday? pick me-ups??

Ok guys, so here’s the deal-i-o. I didn’t forget to write the past two Mondays for Monday pick me-ups, I just didn’t have time. And I’m REALLY sorry and I hope you can forgive me for all the hardships that I just know you’ve had! I mean, how could possibly live through Mondays without my pick me-ups!!!  And since today is NOT a Monday I still want to be excited for the day that it IS. And I’m pretty glad that it’s FRIDAY!!!! So please sit back and rock out to some pretty awesome Friday-y things!!!! Here comes the weekend!!!!!

ok, so I’m sooo thrilled about this song either, but with anything annoying or terrible you can rock out and act completely stupid! So turn it on and turn it up!!!

so after that (maybe you didn’t even watch it) but now I have something you absolutely HAVE to watch!!!

Ok, so I put two videos of this guy, but im tellin you, you HAVE to watch this too! I’m not going to put something on here that I think you shouldn’t watch (except maybe “Friday” but that was for ceremonial purposes only)

Thanks for all you guys went through!!!! Have a great weekend and maybe I’ll have a Monday pick me-up in a couple days!!!

Do you like waffles?

So today is October 17, which also happens to be a Monday, one of many this year. Sadly, for me at least, this Monday is like no other and at the end of the day I am tired and ready for Friday. My weekend, if you care to know, was fun. I did some really cool things like go to the Sounders game and volunteer to cheer on racers at the “Race for a Solider” race. You know those weekends where you just can’t wait to do all the things you want to do and while you’re doing them you’re just so excited and having a great time you don’t see your whole weekend disappear? Then when you wake up Monday morning you realize you only slept, like, 5 hours or less through the entire weekend and you wish you had another two days to rest? Well that was my weekend; and so, this Monday Pick Me-Up will be dedicated to the weekend, and remembering how fun it was and at least trying to get you more excited for the week!
these videos are things i've done on weekends, not necessarily this weekend(:))

Rainy Days

So happy Monday the 10th and I just want to stop and ask:

How are you? How’s your week been going? Everything ok and dandy? I hope so!

So yesterday I posted about happiness, the idea which I got from one of my best friend (and other blogger). And I really liked thinking about all those things that give us crap and make our days suck, especially on Mondays. So this Monday I’m gonna go for things that kinda calm us down a bit, make us relax and breathe. And you know what? My Monday hasn’t been the prodigal day-off from school. I got up early and had to go to the doctor’s for a physical.  I got two shots and blood drawn and all in my right arm so I bet you could maybe see my discomfort, but I got to hang out with my friend Amanda. So it was ok. As I sat down to do some homework I got on YouTube too (I know what a great way to start homework) and I was watching this video and in one the comments it said to go to “rainy mood” on Google and click the first link and then listen to the song (“how he loves” by David Crowder band) and it was really cool. So click some  rainy stuff and just relax. Also I’ve put some other cool pics below. I love water and what it does to the forest. I love seeing the dreen in maple leave and the brightness of the cloudy sun.  I hope you feel like curling up in a blanket and good book and relax on this Columbus Monday!
another cool thing to listen to:my relaxing day

So once again another Monday has come again and brought with it its troubles. For example, this morning I didn’t wake up on time and got up 30 min late! (And you know, I've always hated that sound)What a way to start the week! School wasn’t that great either and now I’ve been sentenced with a bundle of homework because I slacked off on looking at moodle (online planner basically for teachers) this weekend.  So extra torment for me! How wonderful!!! Well I did have some pick me-ups like my best friend isn’t moving (yay!!!! Which sadly when she told me I wasn’t in the mood for jumping up and down so I think I made her a little sad) and then being able to watch Doctor Who and learn that he (oops spoilers* ;)haha) anyway when I got home I was still in a funk and so I hope these thing cheer you up as it did me J

Amazing Grace

I absolutely adore this song and I love singing it. I think it's a great way to end the week with this song in my head and I hope you agree. My prayer is that you allow the Lord to loosen your stresses and that He comes into your life the weekend and brings a great and amazing refreshment.

This last week my house was broken into. These people pried our back door open with a crow bar. I thought I had left the door open until I saw the damage, they took a couple things that were replaceable; however, my mom lost things very near and dear to her heart and she was very upset. I was so thankful that my camera wasn't stolen and I prayed to God that we would be able to find my mother's jewelry boxes. I sadly have little hope in this but I know that everything that God has taken from us he will give more than we know. With every bad thing that happens I try to look at a bright side and when I can't see any good I ask God to show me what He is trying to teach me or I wonder what great thing He will show me.

I might be frustrated at the people who came into our house and took things, I know that if I did have something stolen I might not say what I'm about to say but I wish I do. I hope that whoever did it needed it, that they didn't do it out of spite and that they had a good reason for it. I'm not justifying it at all but I do hope it wasn't just because they felt like it. I pray that God will bring my mother's things back but I also pray to thank him for all the things they COULD have stolen but didn't, things right next to stolen item s that would have cut even deeper than what they did. Sometimes I wonder what their situation might be if they must stoop to do something like that and so I want to pray for them as well that their life may be changed, that God shows them their wrong doing and that they decide to begin their life anew. Again I am thankful and hope that you're weekend is relaxing and that God releases stress.

Thanks!
